Mission Statement

Holy Redeemer Catholic School is a faith-centered community dedicated to the Catholic Tradition rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our school challenges students to reach their full potential in academics, character and faith.

Computer technology is used to enhance the curriculum in all subject areas.  A full-time technologist supports classroom and content area teachers in integrating technology into classroom instruction. Students have access to over 300 computers located throughout the school building. Eighth-grade students are issued Chromebooks for in class and take home usage.   Wireless Internet access is available throughout the school and the entire campus is password secured. Every class is equipped with an interactive whiteboard allowing student and teacher access to a variety of tools and resources to assist in classroom instruction and collaborative learning.

The technology program offers keyboarding, word processing, presentations, publishing, spreadsheets, database programming and other tools that help the students communicate in various ways. Students are taught proper Internet usage and safety beginning in the primary grades.  As they progress through the program, students learn search techniques and how to evaluate websites to assist them in information acquisition.  A sequential program is in place to enhance keyboarding skills for intermediate and middle school students.  These skills are further refined and integrated into all the core subject areas as students use them to complete required assignments and projects for classes.
