On March 31, Holy Redeemer Catholic School proudly hosted its annual middle school Oratorical Contest, showcasing the faith, confidence, and public speaking talents of its students. This year’s theme, “God Doesn’t Make Mistakes: Embracing Our Learning and Physical Differences,” encouraged participants to reflect on the beauty of individuality and the importance of compassion and acceptance within our community.
Two students from each middle school homeroom were selected to represent their classes and deliver their speeches in front of the entire school. Each speaker demonstrated remarkable courage, thoughtful preparation, and a deep understanding of the theme, inspiring both their peers and teachers.
After an impressive series of presentations, the judges selected the following winners:
1st Place: Claire E. (6th grade)
2nd Place: Sofi Rae G. (7th grade)
3rd Place: Anna M. (8th grade)
Congratulations to all of our participants for their hard work and dedication. A special congratulations goes to Claire E., who will go on to represent Holy Redeemer Catholic School at the Archdiocesan-level Oratorical Contest in April. We wish her the very best as she continues to share her message with a wider audience.
This year’s contest was a beautiful reminder that each of us is uniquely created by God, with gifts and differences that should be embraced and celebrated. Holy Redeemer Catholic School is proud of all its students for living out these values each day.
