8th grade students dressed in living stations attire.

Holy Redeemer Catholic School was blessed to witness a powerful and prayerful presentation of the Living Stations of the Cross, reverently performed by our 8th grade students. Through their heartfelt reenactment, students brought to life the passion and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, guiding our school community through this sacred Lenten devotion.

Each station was portrayed with great care, reverence, and attention to detail. The students’ commitment to their roles was evident, as they worked diligently to embody the emotions and significance of Christ’s journey to the Cross. Their performance served as a meaningful reminder of Christ’s immense love and sacrifice, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.

As Scripture reminds us: “He himself bore our sins in his body upon the cross, so that, free from sin, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24). This message was beautifully reflected in the students’ portrayal, helping our community enter more deeply into the Lenten season.

We commend our 8th grade students for their hard work, dedication, and reverence in representing Christ and sharing this important tradition with our school. Their efforts were truly inspiring.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Sullivan, our Religious Education Coordinator and 8th grade religion teacher, for her tireless work in organizing and guiding this event. Her dedication helped make this meaningful experience possible for our entire school community.

Holy Redeemer Catholic School is proud of our students for continuing to grow in faith and for bringing the story of Christ’s love to life in such a profound way.
