Administration

Mrs. Rice holds a B.A. in Soviet and European Studies and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University. Mrs. Rice believes that the Archdiocesan model of PreK to 8th grade schooling is the best for the development of the whole child. She loves helping to partner with staff and families alike to make the best "Cardinals" around! Both of Mrs. Rice's children graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in Marietta- Classes of ‘05 and ’07.
Mrs. Rice's initial degree was in Soviet and East European Studies and she studied abroad at Volgograd State University in the USSR

Ms. Koerner graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in P-12 Special Education. She received her M.Ed. in Special Education from Grand Canyon University and her Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of West Georgia. While staying at home with her kids when they were little, Ms. Koerner was also a youth minister at Saint Brigid for the Life Teen program. Ms. Koerner enjoys reading and hiking, and camping, especially in her home state, Colorado.
Ms. Koerner is a graduate of St. Pius X '04. In addition to having a current 6th grader at Holy Redeemer, she also has a son and daughter who are both Holy Redeemer alumni, classes of '24 and '25.

Mrs. Battaglia graduated from Mercer University with a B.A. in Broadcast Communications and Journalism and a B.A. in English. She has been a part of the HR Family since her oldest daughter entered kindergarten at Holy Redeemer in 2005. She has held Home and School Association positions, volunteered to run the Gala, worked in the Primary Common Areas as a homeroom assistant, served as the Advancement Director and for the last four years as the Director of Enrollment. Mrs. Battaglia believes she has been privileged to work with prospective families as they discern one of their most important decisions for their children: who will be their educational partner for the longest duration. Our students are with us for 9 or 10 years!
Mrs. Battaglia went to Catholic school from Kindergarten through 12th grade in New York and Tampa, Florida. She also has two daughters who are HR Alumni, classes of ‘14 and ’16. Go Cardinals! Mrs. Battaglia has a soft spot for HR Cardinals and King Charles Cavalier Spaniels. Her current 8 month old puppy, Gino, is her 2nd HR Gala KCC Spaniel!

Mrs. Aylsworth graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Economics. She enjoys praying the rosary daily and being active in her Bible Study, Walking With Purpose. Mrs. Aylsworth helps the Advancement Office of HR by securing sponsors and donations for the annual GALA. She has two daughters, one who graduated Holy Redeemer class of '23 and one who is currently in eighth grade at Holy Redeemer.
Mrs. Aylsworth is a certified breath coach.

Mr. Beck graduated from Webster University with B.A. in Elementary Education , M.A.T. Curriculum and Instruction in Middle School Education. He also holds a M.Ed in Catholic School Leadership from Marymount University. Mr. Beck is a founding faculty member of Holy Redeemer and is a BSA Eagle Scout. He also has a son who is a Holy Redeemer alumni class of ‘10. Mr. Beck is the adviser of the HR National Junior Honor Society Chapter.
Mr. Beck volunteers at the North Fulton Community Charities Food Pantry and is a Eucharistic Minister at St. Andrew Catholic Church.


Ms. Bowen graduated from the University of Georgia with a BSHE in Home Economics and furthered her education with a M.Ed in Elementary Education from Georgia Southwestern University. She loves being able to weave our Catholic faith in with a well-rounded academic education to give our students the best of both worlds!
Ms. Bowen handles the Martin Luther King Jr. Poster and Essay Contest as well as managing the school-wide Spelling Bee. Both of Ms. Bowen's daughters graduated from Blessed Trinity. One daughter in 2016 and the other in 2018. She loves to sing when no one is listening!

Sra. Braun graduated from Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain with a BA in Liberal Arts, Universidad de Puerto Rico with a Master in Education, Georgia State University with a Master in Applied Linguistics, Georgia State University with an Education Specialist degree in Teaching Languages, and is a National Board Certified Teacher. Sra. Braun's grandkids attend HR, classes of '28 and '30.
Sra. Braun retired from Fulton County Schools where she taught Spanish -- 4th, 5th grades and all levels in high school. She has a cockapoo named Peluche, which means 'stuffed animal'. He was rescued from a puppy mill and given to her by a former high school student. He will be 17 years old, but runs as if he were a puppy.


Ms. Carpenter graduated from Georgia College & State University (GCSU) with a B.A. in French. Ms. Carpenter originally joined Holy Redeemer as an original third-grade student in 1999, HR's inaugural year! She graduated with the HR Class of 2005, and Blessed Trinity High School class of 2009. Ms. Carpenter serves as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at St. Brigid Catholic Church and at school masses.
Ms. Carpenter believes you can never fully understand one language until you understand at least two. Monolingualism is curable! She speaks both French and Italian and has taught English overseas!

Mrs. Dabbs holds a B.S. in Family Child Development, a M.Ed. in Elementary Education, and second M.Ed. in School Guidance and Counseling. I went to an all-girls Catholic school for 13 years in Tampa, Florida. Both of her children attended Holy Redeemer K-8 and then graduated from Blessed Trinity. Mrs. Dabbs's primary focus is to make learning fun. She believes that we should all “Be kind and be a good person- its really that easy!”
Mrs.Dabbs has two golden doodles- Ruby and Rocket. She loves her fur babies very much. Mrs. Dabbs also loves to bake!

Ms. Dallavalle obtained a BA in Political Science from UGA and a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Valdosta State University. She loves giving characters funny voices when reading to students.
Ms. Dallavalle would try out for Jeopardy, but believes she has no interesting facts to share during the intros.

Mrs. Davis attended Georgia State University. She volunteers in several different ministries at St. Brigid Catholic Church. Mrs. Davis has a son and a daughter who are both HR alumni, from the classes of '11 and '14. She has two adorable cats named Dynah and Anna, and she loves to read and go to the beach.


Mrs. Enloe graduated from the University of West Georgia with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, the University of Georgia with a M.Ed. in Middle Grades Science, & an Ed.S. in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University. She is the head of the HR Yearbook Club and helps with the HR news team, the Cardinal News Network. Mrs. Enloe has taught every grade PreK-4 through 8 in both public and private schools.
She has three senior rescue dogs: a chihuahua-mix named Lucy, a miniature poodle named Boo, and a miniature schnauzer named Otto.


Sra. Fernández graduated from Georgia State University with B.S. in Psychology and Spanish. Sra. Fernandez is a proud graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary ES & St. Pius X HS. She has served as an inaugural staff member, originating & developing curricula, and worked at several Catholic Schools throughout the Atlanta Archdiocese. She & her husband's oldest child attended Notre Dame Academy - one of the Catholic schools she helped open. She also opened Queen of Angels. Their younger two children, HR Alumni (Classes of '23 and '24), currently attend Blessed Trinity HS.
Sra. Fernández loves education, family & community, exploring and appreciating all the different ways we express ourselves. She finds joy in God's artwork. She strives to make every student feel valued, encouraged, and part of our caring community rooted in our Catholic faith. She studied in Spain and has been an educator for over 30 years. Sra. Mercedes Fernández is first generation USA American. Her parents were born in Cuba and exiled in the early 1960's. Spanish is her first / native language. She loves many things including basketball, music, and learning new things.


Ms. Gonzalez graduated from Georgia College & State University with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and a M.S.Ed. in Instructional Technology. She is a graduate of Blessed Trinity. Ms. Gonzalez attends perpetual adoration every week!
She has a Pekingese named Hercules and loves to watch Formula One racing!

Mr. Greco graduated from St. Francis College with a B.A. History and a A.A.S. in Business Administration. He has two kids at Holy Redeemer. Plus, he has graduated from Bishop Ford H.S and St. Francis College located in Brooklyn NY. Mr. Greco takes pictures for the school yearbook and has two dogs named Gus and Paddington. He is the Treasurer for St. Brigid's Knights of Columbus #13204.


Ms. Hawthorne graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BA in Early Childhood Education. In her free time, she teaches art to special needs young adults.
Ms. Hawthorne has a mad love for goats! She had a pet goat on her grandfather's farm in Virginia that she fed with a bottle which was named Nanny.


Mrs. Hein graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and a M. Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University. She is a graduate of Blessed Trinity '05. Mrs. Hein volunteers as a Kitchen Angel at St. Brigid's and loves giving back to her community. She loves to play tennis and go hiking with her family.

Mrs. Helfrich graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Marketing and from Georgia State University with a M.Ed. in Secondary Education. She is a parishioner at Saint Brigid. Mrs. Helfrich has two daughters who were both Holy Redeemer alumni classes of ‘23 and ’25. She also has two sons currently attending Holy Redeemer in grades 6 and 4.

Mrs. Henderson graduated from Emory University with a B. S. in Nursing. She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Atlanta, and graduated from St. Pius X High School. Her two daughters attended Holy Redeemer classes of ’10 and ’12) and Blessed Trinity. Her grandson is attending St. Brigid Preschool this Fall.

Mr. Hitchcock graduated from Columbus State University with a B.S. in Psychology and Western Governors University with a M.Ed. in Elementary Education. His youngest daughter graduated from Holy Redeemer class '24. Mr. Hitchcock partners with Mrs. Enloe to deliver the morning news broadcast.
Mr. Hitchcock is the named inventor on more than 15 U.S. patents. He also has an English Bulldog named Gertrude Penelope.

Mrs. Hogan graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Masters of Instruction degree, M.I. She has been a teacher at Holy Redeemer since 2005. She has a son and a daughter who are both Holy Redeemer alumni, classes of ‘12 and ’14. Mrs. Hogan's husband is in the Permanent Diaconate Formation Program for the Archdiocese of Atlanta. She regularly attends religious classes with him on the weekends.
Mrs. Hogan loves to bake and loves anything chocolate.

Mrs. Ianiro graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.A. in Education, specializing in Early Childhood Ed. She taught PreK for three years at Saint Brigid Day School across the parking lot before making her way back to teaching full-time at Holy Redeemer. Mrs. Ianiro has two children who also attend Holy Redeemer. Mrs. Ianiro is an alumni at All Saints Catholic School in Ohio.
When she isn't at school or bringing additional work home each night, she's taxiing her kids around to various sports. Mrs. Ianiro loves adventuring. She has hiked the Grand Canyon, but Sedona, AZ, is by far her favorite!


Mrs. Jump graduated from Elmira College, in Elmira, NY, with a B.A. in Education, and she completed graduate work in education from the State University of New York and the University of Pittsburgh. She has been teaching at Holy Redeemer for twenty-three years. She believes that Holy Redeemer is a community of faith, hope, and love. Mrs. Jump's daughter, Sarah, is a graduate of Marist School.
Mrs. Jump has a very joyful cat, Valentina!



Mrs.Manley graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in English and Criminology. In addition to directing the aftercare program, Mrs. Manley is one of Holy Redeemer's substitute teachers. Mrs. Manley has three adult sons who attended Holy Redeemer. They all attended Marist after 8th grade. She now has two grandsons who attend Holy Redeemer.
Mrs. Manley has two miniature dachshunds, Peanut and Lucy.

Mrs. Martin graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and from Georgia State University with a M.Ed. in Reading, Language, and Literacy Development. She graduated from St. Jude and St. Pius. Her brother attended Holy Redeemer. Mrs. Martin and her family were founding parishioners of Saint Brigid. She teaches third grade PSR at Saint Brigid.

Mrs. Martin graduated from North Georgia College with a degree in Physical Education and an M.Ed. in Physical Education. She is a graduate of Milton High School, class of '95. Mrs. Martin helps out with the middle school athletics. She also volunteers with the American Legion with the veteran affairs.
Mrs. Martin has a dog named Charley and a cat named Oreo.

Mrs. McKee graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in International Business. She attended Catholic School in New Orleans for grades K-12! Mrs. McKee is a graduate of SPX and Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans
Mrs. McKee spent the last six years in the National Charity League volunteering with her daughter and is excited to continue working with the 20+ organizations that the Roswell-Alpharetta chapter is affiliated with now that her daughter is in college.

Ms. McWatt graduated from St. Cloud University with a B.S. in Special Education and B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota. From parish pews to Peace Corps villages, she has learned that Catholic education works best when it’s warm, welcoming, and rooted in love. Ms. McWatt has two sons and one daughter who graduated from St. Pius X Catholic HS classes of '08, '10, and '12.
Ms. McWatt lived in South Africa for 8 years.

Jennifer Mehall graduated from Butler University with a Journalism degree. She was a paraprofessional in Fulton County Schools for seven years and recently received her GA teaching license. Having taught only in public schools, She loves being a part of Catholic education and incorporating the faith into everyday learning! She is a parishioner of St Peter Chanel and loves helping bring programs into the Church, such as Family Honor and Advent by Candlelight.
Mrs.Mehall is a Notre Dame fan and UGA fan, where her oldest son graduated from.



Mrs. Nimmo graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. with a major in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Nimmo is a founding member of the faculty of Holy Redeemer. Mrs. Nimmo graduate of St Jude the Apostle and St. Pius X catholic schools. She has two daughters who are both Holy Redeemer alumni and currently teach in Atlanta Archdiocesan schools. Her two oldest granddaughters also attend catholic school.

Mrs. Pacer graduated from Oglethorpe University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a minor in Vocal Performance. She has two sons who are both Holy Redeemer alumni, classes of '15 and '18. They went on to graduate from Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, classes of '19 and '23.
Mrs. Pacer was born in Bermuda while her daddy was serving in the U.S. Navy. She loves to spend time on Lake Lanier and cheer on the Ole Miss Rebels. Hotty Toddy!

Mrs. Perez graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies and a M.S. in Elementary Education. She loves being a Catholic school teacher because she can nurture both faith and learning, helping every child feel loved, valued, and part of a caring community. Mrs. Perez is a graduate of St. Gregory the Great Catholic School in Plantation, Florida, as well as a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
She has 5 boys ranging in ages from 11-15, 7 dogs, and 26 fish. She absolutely loves football (Go Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Bucs!) and spends most of her free time at the football field watching her boys play football.

Mrs. Potter graduated from Bradley University with a B.M. in Music Education and Minor in Theatre. She directs the middle school Praise Choir, Tri-M Music Honor Society, teaches a beginning guitar class, and manages the Drama Club for Middle School. Mrs. Potter wants every student to recognize their gifts from God.

Mrs. Schmidt graduated from Saint Louis University (Go Billikens!) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a minor in Psychology. She has served as Chair of the St. Brigid Mom’s group and President of the Holy Redeemer Home and School Association, as well as for many years as Spiritual Life Class Parent.
Mrs. Schmidt attended Catholic school from 1st grade through college! She and her husband are both graduates of St. Pius X. They have two children who are HR alumni, classes of ‘23 and ‘25, who now attend Blessed Trinity.
Mrs. Schmidt used to be a nurse at Disneyland!


Mrs. Schneider graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a B.S. in Collaborative Elementary Education. She will graduate from UGA with her M.Ed. in Reading Education in 2026. She attended and graduated from Catholic schools from grades K-12 in Florida and taught at another Archdiocesan school prior to moving to the Johns Creek/Alpharetta area! Mrs. Schneider has a German Shorthaired Pointer named Goose and played lacrosse in college!

Bio:
Mrs. Shappard graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Family and Child Development, followed by a M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University. Mrs. Shappard loves to support Catholic education. Mrs. Shappard's three adult children graduated from Holy Redeemer and Blessed Trinity. Her youngest daughter now teaches at OLA!


Mrs. Smith graduated from the University of Tampa with a B.S. in Elementary Education and received an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Barry University. She observes that Catholic schools foster a close-knit community where parents are actively involved in school life, volunteering at events, participating in parent groups, and collaborating with teachers in their children's education. Mrs. Smith has two sons who attended Catholic Schools PK through 12th grade. Her oldest son graduated from John Carroll a Catholic University in Ohio. She loves Pickleball and is currently on a league for the county.

Mrs. Strickland graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Elementary Education (K-8) and from Northern Arizona University with a M.Ed. in Bilingual and Multicultural Education (K-12). Mrs. Strickland's three children all graduated from Holy Redeemer. Her daughter is a Blessed Trinity alumni class of '24, and her two sons currently attend Blessed Trinity. Mrs. Strickland mentors teachers who are new to the Holy Redeemer staff.
Mrs. Strickland spends most of her free time watching her three kids play soccer.

Mrs. Sullivan graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.A. in English. Graduate work was completed at Spring Hill College, where she earned a M.A. in Elementary Education. She is the coordinator for all HR service projects. She is a mentor for MS students as they earn their individual service hours. She is also the mentor for Altar Servers and the newly created Spiritual Council. Mrs. Sullivan has a passion for service and uses her time and resources to support parish and community projects for those in need. She is a graduate of Catholic high school. Mrs. Sullivan has a daughter who is an '03 alumna of Christ the King and a son who is an HR alumnus of the class of '13 and a BT alumnus class of '17.
Mrs. Sullivan has four grandchildren, with a fifth arriving in November 2025.

Mrs. Swaim has a Masters in Education from the University of Notre Dame. She has a daughter who is an HR graduate and another daughter who is a middle schooler at HR. Mrs. Swaim attended elementary school at St. Bernard Catholic School in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. When Mrs. Swaim isn't teaching, she enjoys being a mom to two daughters and one West Highland Terrier. She loves cheering on the Fighting Irish and the Pittsburgh Steelers!

Mrs. Terry graduated from Flagler College with a B.A. in Psychology and from the University of North Florida with a M.A. in General Psychology. She is also an assistant to Mrs. Pauline Battaglia in the Enrollment office. Mrs. Terry has 4 children in Catholic School. Brantley and Brayden are current students at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School (HR alumni 23' and 25'), and Bradie and Braylee are current Holy Redeemer students. Mrs. Terry is a former student, teacher, and coach of Bishop Kenny Catholic High School in Jacksonville, FL. As a former athlete and coach at Bishop Kenny, she has won a total of 7 state titles in Cross Country and Track & Field.
Although Mrs. Terry loves to teach and participate in team sports, most people are unaware that she was a ballet dancer for over 20 years!

Ms.Triggs graduated from the University of West Georgia with a B.A. in Psychology, an M.Ed., and an Ed.S. in Guidance and Counseling. She also holds a Master of Theological Studies from Holy Spirit College. She is a consecrated woman and a member of the DeSales Secular Institute. She volunteers with young adults through the Catholic centers of two of our local universities. Ms. Triggs is the faculty advisor for the HR Student Council and manages the Virtue of the Month program.
Ms. Triggs loves baking - the more complex the better!
