Spiritual Life Program

A function of the Home and School Association, the Spiritual Life Committee supports the Holy Redeemer Religious Curriculum by working with the faculty, staff and other parents to enhance the spiritual and service programs of our school. The goals of the Spiritual Life Committee are:

  • to increase the awareness and appreciation of God's presence in the daily life of our school
  • to create an environment within the school that reflects and deepens an awareness of our living Catholic faith
  • to provide opportunities for our children and parents to utilize their gifts to help others in our local and global community
  • to develop an experience of faith-based community through our care and concern for each other

Our aim is to instill in our children, not only sound Catholic teachings, but an experience of the Spirit that will enable them to live what they learn and reflect the Gospel of Jesus in their lives.

For Our Parents

We honor the role of our parents as primary educators of their children in the Catholic faith. We welcome parents to participate in the many activities which support them in this role. Events such as our annual Mother’s Retreat, Mother’s Lenten Walk, and Dad’s Prayer Breakfast nurture parents in their faith and assist them in helping their children grow in faith. Weekly Parent Rosary and liturgies allow our community to join in prayer for our students and staff. We pray for those in need through our community prayer chain. We encourage parents to join us in the many service and prayer opportunities which strengthen us in faith and in mission.
